Do You Charge For Your Services?

The simple answer is no! As a travel agent my payment comes after you travel in the form of commission from the vendor(s) that you used while on your vacation. In cases where it is a complicated itinerary with multiple cities/flights/e.t.c. there will be a non-refundable retainer of $40. However, if you book that fee gets applied directly to your vacation.

Why Should I Use a Travel Agent, Can't I Book Everything Myself?

Yes you can absolutely book everything yourself. However, using a travel agent means that you do not have to do any research or try to find the best deals, that's what I am here for. I have and continually go through trainings from various companies to ensure that I am staying on top of what's happening in the world of travel. Plus, once you have s started your trip I am just a phone call or text message away if you run into any problems. You don't have to stand in long lines or stress about dealing with the customer service hotline; leave that to me! 

Do I Need a Passport?

This is going to depend upon your destination. However, I recommend clients always get a passport when traveling, even within the United States. Often security lines are shorter for those who have passports. If you are flying to an international destination you will definitely need a passport (and potentially a visa). If you are cruising, it will vary depending upon your location. 

Do I Have To Pay Upfront For My Vacation?

There are a lot of factors to this so the answer could be yes or no. Most companies will allow you to put a deposit down to secure your rooms, flights, and more. However, the timeline and ability to do this will depend upon when you are booking in reference to when you are going on vacation. If you are booking and going within a few months typically you will need to pay it all up front. Booking a year out? Most likely you will be good with just a deposit and paying the rest later. We will discuss all the deadlines with you!

Can I Book Flights With You?

I currently do not book just air travel by itself. However, when it is part of a travel package with a hotel stay, then I can definitely book air travel for you.

How Do You Plan Custom Trips To Places You Have Never Visited?

Great question! One way is destination training provided by many destinations world wide virtually; typically hosted by a local travel advisory board. But also I work with many great companies that literally cover the entire globe from the North to South pole. So if you want to go Antartica, while I have never been there I know of a few companies (and cruise lines) that will get you there. So I get in contact with them and we work together, based on your needs and desires, to create your custom itineary.
